Website vs. Platform Privacy
This Privacy Policy covers your use of the cloper.com marketing website only, including browsing, form submissions, and analytics. If you are a school or district using the Cloper platform (the SaaS product), your use is governed by our Platform Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which are provided as part of your service agreement and contain additional protections for student data under FERPA, COPPA, and applicable state privacy laws.
1. Scope and Role
This Privacy Policy applies to the public Cloper marketing website located at cloper.com and other pages that link to this policy (collectively, the “Website”). It explains how Cloper (“Cloper,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information in connection with the Website.
For Website visitors, marketing leads, newsletter subscribers, and people who contact us through public forms, Cloper generally acts as the controller of that information. If you are a school, district, or authorized user of the Cloper platform, Cloper may act as a service provider or processor under a separate contract, platform privacy policy, and DPA. This Website policy does not govern student records, school-managed communications, or platform data processed on behalf of customers.

Where required by law, we request consent before enabling non-essential cookies or tracking technologies. You can update your preferences through our cookie banner or your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect some Website features.
Our Website may also use privacy-preserving or cookie-light analytics tools that do not rely on the same types of identifiers as advertising cookies.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also be authorized to use an agent where applicable law permits it.
To submit a request, contact privacy@cloper.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
We do not knowingly sell or share student personal information collected through the Cloper platform for behavioral advertising. Student data rights and school data requests should be directed through the applicable customer agreement and school relationship.
10. California, EEA, UK, and Similar Regional Notices
Residents of certain jurisdictions, including California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions with privacy laws, may have additional rights. Where required, we will honor valid requests related to access, deletion, correction, portability, objection, or consent withdrawal. If a law requires a region-specific disclosure, this policy should be read to include those rights to the extent applicable to your use of the Website.
If you use the Cloper platform through a school or district, many privacy rights requests related to platform data must be directed to that organization because it may control the relevant records.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information collected through the Website. These measures may include encrypted transport, access controls, secure hosting, logging, and vendor management. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
